Men’s Groups

Men's groups offer a supportive space for men to connect, share experiences, and promote personal growth. Participants engage in open discussions about masculinity, societal expectations and pressures, relationships, mental health, and self-improvement, fostering camaraderie and accountability. By encouraging vulnerability and mutual support, these guided groups empower men to navigate challenges and cultivate healthier relationships with themselves and others. If you’re interested in participating in a Men’s Group, please read the group descriptions carefully then sign up for a brief phone consultation where we can discuss what is bringing you to group therapy and answer any questions you may have.

Men, Family, and Work

Conversations for Black Men

Conversations for Black Men

Many of us find it hard to juggle career demands while being present and engaged with family. This group aims to help men explore what it means to maintain a sense of manhood in the context of family dynamics and work expectations. Participants will meaningfully examine the stressors surrounding societal expectations of masculinity, including the pressures that can lead to feelings of inadequacy, anger and frustration, confusion, substance abuse and, in some cases, suicidal thoughts. Through shared experiences, guided discussions, and therapeutic activities members will gain insights into their own beliefs, behaviors, and how to achieve a healthy and balanced life.

"Conversations for Black Men" is a supportive psychotherapy group designed to create a safe space for Black Men to share our experiences, challenges, and triumphs. This group fosters open dialogue about mental health, identity, and societal pressures, encouraging participants to express feelings without judgment. Through guided discussions and therapeutic activities, members can explore topics such as stress, relationships, and self-care, while building a strong sense of community. The group aims to empower, promote healing, and enhance emotional well-being, ultimately helping participants navigate the unique complexities of our lives with resilience and support.
